Hotel ICON brings design works by Pierre Gonalons to Hong Kong in ICONIC art show for Le French May

(Hong Kong, 19 April, 2016) - As part of Hong Kong’s month-long celebration of French culture, Le French May, the city’s Hotel ICON is proud to partner with renowned French designer and artist Pierre Gonalons, represented by Avenue Des Arts, for the first exhibition of his work in Asia. The venue is Hotel ICON’s breathtaking 28th floor ‘Above and Beyond’ Lounge, featuring Hong Kong’s unique cityscape and skyline as its backdrop.

The Parisian designer will present a selection of his design works alongside a number of his brand new creations that mix pop culture with classical inspirations, all created through the use of exceptional materials. Featured pieces will include lights, furniture, mirrors and limited edition pieces from his latest production, including Grand Antique Marble console and pedestal as well as his beautiful Pyramid tables in polished brass.
