A HOTEL UNLIKE ANY OTHER

This is a hotel that takes a new look at hospitality. Hotel ICON is all about individuality and a celebration of Hong Kong's finest. We're passionate about local culture - art and design, fabulous food and a modern sparkle packaged up with perfect service. But we also have an undeniably international flavour too and this is reflected throughout every aspect of our service. It is what makes Hong Kong unique - the representation everywhere of different cultures. Yet, you'll find the ambience here familiar and comfortable - the perfect balance of high style and traditional hospitality - exciting yet informal, responsive and passionate. Hotel ICON reflects the true essence of Hong Kong.

Founded and owned by Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), the School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM) and Hotel ICON complex represents the global centre of excellence in hospitality and tourism education research. GREEN CREDENTIALS

In one respect, our green credentials are one of our most visible features, with one of Asia's largest vertical garden, a sustainable and largely self-regulating creation designed by Patrick Blanc. Yet the environmental commitment runs deeper.

Environmentally friendly features:

  • Automatic lights cut off as you leave your room
  • Low energy bulbs throughout many areas
  • Vertical garden assists CO2 absorption and O2 production
