This summer, enjoy seasonal delights at Michelin Guide Recommended Chinese restaurant Above & Beyond. Executive Chef Wong Chi Ki combines fresh ingredients with excellent craftsmanship that will freshen up your palate and delight your taste buds.
Chef Wong has created a Double-boiled Soup with Fish Maw, Abalone, Conpoy, Sea Cucumber and Winter Melon with the benefit of clearing summerheat by using Winter Melon as a main ingredient and steaming the melon with all the ingredients; Another highlight dish is Wok-fried Lobster and Scallop Stuffed in Tomato. This dish reaches new heights as the flavours of the seafood meld with the juicy and ripe tomato, creating a harmonious blend of tastes.
Chef Wong meticulously selects high-quality seasonal ingredients, and highlights the unique blue melon garoupa, only available in limited quantities. Above & Beyond sources the blue melon garoupa, which contains nano-selenium—an essential trace mineral for human health, thanks to the innovative efforts of the team at the Research Institute for Future Food (RI Food) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).
