Hong Kong Sevens
The Hong Kong Sevens began in 1976 and was the first rugby tournament to attract sponsorship. The series then grew into a competition with national representative sevens sides competing, and with this growth, the tournament moved to the Hong Kong Stadium in 1982 where it remains.
Now established as the world's premier event of its kind and one of the most popular annual sporting events in Asia, the Hong Kong Sevens attracts some of the world's greatest rugby players and thousands of fans from every corner of the globe to the magnificent Stadium every year.
